DreamStyle ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data when you use dreamstyleart.com (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

When you use DreamStyle, we collect the following:

• Account information: Your email address, display name, and profile image, provided through Google Sign-In.
• Payment information: We do not store your credit card details. All payments are processed by Stripe; we only receive a customer ID and subscription status.
• Usage data: Credits balance, generation history (metadata only — not images), and subscription plan.
• Device fingerprint: A non-personal hash used to prevent abuse of our free tier (1 free generation per device).
• Cookies: A single session cookie required for login. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that require consent banners.

2. What We Do NOT Store

• Your uploaded photos. Photos you upload are sent to our image processing partner (fal.ai), used to generate your stylized image, and automatically deleted from temporary storage within hours. We do not retain copies on our servers.
• Your generated images. Once a generated image is delivered to your browser, we do not keep a copy. You are responsible for downloading and saving images you want to keep.
• Payment card information. All payment data lives with Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor.

3. AI Training Disclosure

We do not use your photos or generated images to train any AI model. Our image processing partner (fal.ai) has confirmed that customer inputs are not used to train their models either. Your photos exist temporarily for the sole purpose of generating your stylized result.

4. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the Service (generate images, track credits, manage subscriptions)
• Process payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, subscription renewals — all via Stripe)
• Prevent abuse and detect fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data for advertising purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on these third-party providers to deliver the Service:

• Google — sign-in authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• fal.ai — AI image generation (temporary photo storage only)
• Neon — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data they receive from us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to specific uses of your data

7. GDPR (European Users)

If you reside in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. The legal basis for processing your data is either your consent (when you sign in) or our legitimate interest in operating the Service.

8. Children's Privacy

DreamStyle is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

If you upload a photo of a minor (including your own child), you confirm that you have the legal right and parental authority to do so.

9. Data Retention

• Uploaded photos: Deleted automatically within hours
• Generated images: Not stored on our servers
• Account data: Kept until you delete your account
• Transaction records: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting laws

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures: HTTPS encryption, encrypted database connections, and secure third-party providers. However, no online service is 100% secure. You should not share your account credentials with anyone.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
